RATstands Wishlist

Here are 4 products which have caught my eye recently from RATstands. What I love about the company is that they are at the forefront of innovation and solutions for musicians throughout the music industry and so they have so many useful products for musicians of all kinds. I'd buy everything if I could but in the meantime, here's my RATstands Wishlist.

My iPad is a staple part of my life as a musician. Whether I'm practising and using my digital metronome, tuner and digital scores or taking it out on gigs, my iPad truly goes with me everywhere. I'm also in the market for a new one as my trusty iPad Pro is a few generations old now and not performing to the level I need for gigs and I would love to get the RATstands Z3 Tablet Stand Pro to use in my teaching and gigging. Whilst it is pricier than others on the market, I recently spotted a colleague using it at a recent festival gig and was impressed with its sturdiness and modern look.

Unlike the Scherzo stand, the tablet stand's carry bag comes separately so this is also on my RATstands Wishlist. What's great about the bag is that it looks really smart and so would work with my work as a musician or as an educator. Also, the carry bag fits both the Tablet stand and the Jazz fold-down stand so if you have either of them or both, it's a good investment bag.

I like to be prepared for any eventuality whilst out gigging whether outdoors at a festival or in the concert hall and a stand light is a must. What I like about RATstands' LED Starlight is that it has 2 brightness settings and can be charged whilst in use and the carry bag is included too. It's these details which set it apart from others and I can't wait to try it out.

4. Wind-cheater

When I first discovered the wind-cheater, it was so discreet I barely noticed it in the photos making it the perfect practical companion for my concert stand. The wind-cheater subtly secures music to the stand making it weatherproof for concerts and performances in the great outdoors. I really love how it doesn't detract from the natural beauty of the concert stand whilst being practical. Again, this is why I love RATstands - the solutions they have are innovative without compromising their aesthetic which I would describe as clean, modern and yet somehow simultaneously traditional.

Let me know what's on your Wishlist too. I'll be making a cheeky purchase soon!
